Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Becoming acquainted with the means for achieving prosperity & happiness
Becoming acquainted with the means for achieving prosperity & happiness ISBN: 9781685240592 Author: Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman ar-Rajihi Binding: Paperback Pages: 97 Size: 8.3 x 5.8 x 0.3 inch Publication Year: 2022 Language: English Publisher: Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Description: About This Book: Within this Magnificant Qurʾān, which Allāh spoke, He illustrated the means for achieving prosperity, salvation, and happiness. Allah who is most truthful, swore that salvation, happiness, or prosperity are all impossible to achieve in this life as well as the Hereafter unless by these four means: * First means: ʾĪmān * Second means: Righteous Deeds * Third means: Daʿwah to Allāh * Fourth means: Patience These are the means and qualities one embodies to be among the prosperous. These are also the means for achieving salvation and happiness, so who is the One that informed us of this? Simple, it is Allāh who mentioned it His Magnificant Book. To be more specific, Allāh cited these means in one of the shortest chapters of the Qurʾān, which will be recited until the Day of Resurrection. The great Imām ash-Shāfiʿī mentioned about this chapter: "Had Allāh only revealed this chapter has a proof to be established for or against His creation; then this would be sufficient."

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Being TruthFul With Allah
Being TruthFul With Allah By Shaykh Abdur Razzaq ibn Abdul Muhsin al-Badr ISBN: 9781944241339 A small excerpt from the book..... All praise is due to Allāh, the Lord of all that exists. I bear witness that none deserves to be worshiped in truth except Allāh alone with no partners and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger (may Allāh send Salāh [1] and peace upon him, his family, and his companions all-together). As for what follows: Verily, the subject matter of this treatise is extremely important and it is worthy of deep study and a good deal of time due to its magnitude, importance and urgent need. The happiness of the servant in his worldly life and Hereafter is dependent upon its fulfillment. There is no safety nor happiness for him in this worldly life or in the Hereafter unless he is from its people. Whoever studies the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Noble Messenger knows its great and extensive importance as well as its loftiness: Truthfulness, it is a lofty, great rank from the various ranks of those who advance to Allāh. Every action of the heart returns to it just as every corruption that occurs in the heart returns exclusively to its opposite, which is lying. So the source of every good in the outward and inward appearance of man is truthfulness and the source of every corruption in the outward and inward appearance of man is lying; thus good and corruption return back to these two sources. Allāh has made the life of this world a place for examination and testing so that the truthful distinguishes himself from the liar. Allāh said: "Alif-Lām-Mīm. Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested. And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allāh will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars. (Although Allāh knows all that before putting them to test)." [Sūrah al-Ankabut 29:1-3] Meaning: This life is a field for examination and an abode of trials. Allāh has tested those who came before us from the various nations in this life: "And We indeed tested those who were before them," meaning, He tested and examined them with what will distinguish the people of truth from the people of falsehood by way of it. And like them, this nation itself is subjected to being tested. [1] Shaykh Muhammad ibn Sālih al-'Uthaymīn said in his explanation to his book, Usūl Min 'Ilm Usūl: " Abū al-'Āliyyah said: "Allāh's Salāh upon His slave is Allāh's praise for him in the highest gathering." (Dār ibn al-Jawzi Edition, 21).

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Collection Of Articles On Family
Collection Of Articles On Family By Shaykh Salih 'Ali Shaykh, Shaykh Muhammad 'Ali Farkus, Sahykh 'Ali Yahya al-Haddadi ISBN: 9781640076815 Allāh has obligated certain exchangeable rights upon the husband and the wife. Everyone's right is an obligation upon the other. The Messenger of Allāh (May Allāh raise his rank and grant him peace) said, "Indeed! You have rights over your women and your women have rights over you." However, man has been distinguished by Allāh with a degree over the women. Allāh says, "And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses, etc.) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect, etc.) to what is reasonable, but men have a degree (of responsibility) over them." [Sūrah Al-Baqarah 2:228] The rights of marriage are three: the rights which are shareable between the husband and the wife, the rights of the wife over her husband and the rights of the husband over his wife. However, there is a problem imposing itself here regarding determining the exact description of the wife's service to her husband: is it a right for the husband; the result of which would hold the wife responsible for any failure or inadequate observance of that right? Or is it optional for her to serve him because the only thing she is obliged to do towards him is the sexual pleasure? This issue is debatable among Islāmic jurists, although it is needless of clarification that the normal duties of the wife are to serve the husband and children and to handle the affairs of her house. This is a natural duty required by the shareable rights between the married couple and one of the major factors in maintaining the integrity and coherence of the family, in addition to raising a fine and disciplined generation.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Collection Of Treatises & Fatawa on Fiqh Of Polygyny
Collection Of Treatises & Fatawa on Fiqh Of Polygyny, Marital Conduct, & Fair Treatment In Polygyny By Shaykh Muhammad Bin Salih al-Uthaymin ISBN:9781637957899 Author: Shaykh Muhammad Bin Salih al-Uthaymin Book Binding: Paperback Pages 326 Size: 9.0 x 6.0 x 0.8 inch Publication year:2021 Description About This Book: In his Tafsīr, al- Qurṭubī concluded his refutation of similar arguments by saying: "Opinions of similar nature reflect lack of understanding of the Qurʾān and Sunnah, not to mention total negligence of the practice of the early pious predecessors (Salaf). One probable cause is ignorance of the Arabic language and the [implications] of the texts of the Sunnah. It is also a violation of the consensus of the Muslim community because there is not a single narration reporting any of the Companions or the Successors to have been married to more than four wives at the same time." Polygyny is conditioned with the achievement of fairness among the wives. If one is unconfident in treating them fairly, he is not permitted to marry more than one. However, his marriage would be lawful if he disregarded this unconference. Still, it would be a sin to do so. Tangible fairness is the intended meaning here. In other words, the husband should be financially capable of feeding, clothing, housing, and any other aspect where exercising fairness among the wives is within grasp. The first verse implied the necessity of financial capability to cover the living costs of the second wife and her children. It is indicated in the clause, "That is nearer to prevent you from doing injustice." Al- Qurṭubī (V) quoted al-Shāfiʿī saying: "This part of the verse means [doing injustice] especially with the increasing number of children [were one to marry more than one]." Polygyny is made lawful in the two Qurʾānic verses in Sūrah An-Nisāʾ [verses 3 & 129].

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Contemporary Sciences & Achievements Are Accommodated
Contemporary Sciences & Achievements Are Accommodated ISBN:9781685648657 Author: Shaykh Abdur-Rahman Bin Nasir As-Sadi Binding: Paperback Pages: 86 Size: 8.3 x 5.8 x 0.3 inch Publication Year: 2022 About The Book This Book features conclusive proofs that the religion of Islām, its sciences, practices, and teachings are packed with goodness, mercifulness, guidance, righteousness, and reformation for all times and conditions. Also, the cosmic sciences and the useful modern technologies are covered under the umbrella of religion whose practices are in concordance with them, contrary to the arguments raised by the ignorant or the materialists. Indeed, every science regarded as beneficial to religion and life, groups, and individuals is an integral part of Islām. The religion of Islām highlighted and guided people's attention to such beneficial sciences and whatever else was useful till the Day Resurrection. It is clear that modern sciences will be more harmful than beneficial if not based on religion. To capture this notion, however, two requirements must be fulfilled:1) learning the teachings of the Qurʾān and the Sunnah in general and in detail; 2) developing the necessary knowledge of scientific facts recognized by the unprejudiced rational people. Whenever anybody has a good grasp of both requirements, he will instantly realize that anything good and reformative is accommodated in the Islāmic sciences, practices, and arts so much that they become synonymous with each other. Any shortcoming would therefore be the result of neglecting one of the earlier requirements. Essentially, primary Sharīʿah principles should govern our understanding of the secondary issues. Still, it would be a fatal mistake to argue about the secondary issues without in-depth knowledge of the primary principles, which gives rise to suspicions whose impact affects only the ignorant. However, they come in circulation by the opinionated.

They will pass over the bridge according to their light. Some will pass like the blinking of an eye, while some will pass like lightning; some will pass like the clouds, some will pass like the falling star, while some will pass like the wind; some will pass like the racehorse, while some will pass like the fast traveler; until the last of them will be the man who was given light in his big toe. "He will walk at times and he will stop at times. And he will crawl on his face, his hands and his feet. He will attach his feet to the bridge and his feet will slip, and he will attach his hands and his hands will slip, and his sides will be burnt by the fire. When he is saved-after great difficulty-he will stop and look back at it (the Fire) and he will say, 'All praises belong to the One who saved me from you after I saw you and He has given me what He has not given to anyone from His creation.' Unfortunately, atheism has grown in popularity, raising serious issues. Many people are unfamiliar with Islam, and sincere adherence to its values has become equivalent to clutching a flaming fire. This work effectively tackles and refutes atheists' diverse arguments. It reveals the flaws in their logic, their resistance to natural urges, and the wisdom that contradicts their erroneous ideals. Detailed Chapters Clarifying Tawhid, Minor Shirk & Major Shirk By Shaykh ʿAbdul ʿAzīz bin ʿAbdullāh bin ʿAbdur Raḥmān ar-Rājiḥī ISBN: 9781638487494 It's incumbent for the Muslim to be concerned with renewing his ʾĪmān (i.e., correct Islāmic faith) in the evening and the morning by pondering on the meaning of the statement of Tawḥīd lā ilāha illa Allāh since there's no success except for the people of Tawḥīd. For it is the statement of Islām. So, the Muslim (Muwahhid) must learn about Tawḥīd, implement it, be aware of its position, reject Shirk which is the opposite of Tawḥīd, have a hatred for associating partners with Allāh as well as those who practice it. The Muslim must deem the one who commits major Shirk (knowingly) is a disbeliever of the true Islāmic Faith. The Muslim must also be aware of the position of Shirk.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Etiquettes Of The Houses Of Allah
Etiquettes Of The Houses Of Allah By Shaykh ʿAbdur-Razzāq Ibn ʿAbdul-Muḥsin al-ʿAbbād al-Badr ISBN: 9781635870886 The Masjid is distinctly celebrated for the observance of many of the great and beloved acts of good deeds, such as the plentiful Remembrances of Allāh, establishment of prayer, recitation of the Qur'ān, circles of knowledge and learning the religion of Allāh. On the contrary, the marketplace is fraught with unlawful transactions, bad deeds and other abominable acts that are habitual of marketplaces. It's enough of an honor for the Masjid to be called the House of Allāh. Allāh attributed it to Himself (His Majesty) in order to honor it, glorify its status and display its lofty standing. Allāh says, "And the Mosques are for Allāh (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allāh." [Sūrah al-Jinn 72:18] And, "In Houses (Mosques), which Allāh has ordered to be raised (to be cleaned and to be honored), in them His Name is glorified in the mornings and in the afternoons or the evenings. Men whom neither trade nor sale diverts them from the Remembrance of Allāh (with heart and tongue), nor from performing As-Salāt (Iqāmat-as-Salāt)." [Sūrah An-Nūr 24:36-37]

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Explanation of Riyaadh Saliheen: Chapter on Humility & Lowering Ones' Wing
Explanation of Riyaadh Saliheen: Chapter on Humility & Lowering Ones' Wing To The Believers By Shaykh Muhammad bin Saleh al-Uthaymeen ISBN: 9781628906530 Humility is the opposite of self-exaltation. Humility is that one does not elevate or exalt himself over others by way of his knowledge, lineage, wealth, status, leadership, governorship, and so on. Rather, it is obligatory to lower one's wing to the believers. He should exhibit kindness to them just as the most honorable of creation and lofty amongst them before Allaah, the Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), used to exhibit kindness to the believers, to the point that a young girl would grab him by the hand and take him wherever she wanted and he would fulfill her need for her. Allaah the Sublime says, "And be kind and humble to the believers." [Soorah al-Hijr 15:88]And in another verse Allaah says, "the believers who follow you." [Soorah ash-Shu'araa 26:215] "... and lower your wing"Meaning be humble. The arrogant and haughty person thinks of himself as a bird soaring in the air. So he is commanded to lower his wing and come down to the believers who follow the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). It is known that one is not to lower one's wing to the disbeliever. Rather, one is to be elevated above the disbeliever and exalted above him, placing himself in a position above him. Cling to the Statement of Allaah (At-Tawheed), and the Statement of Allaah is superior. Allaah said in his description of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and his companions, "They are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves," [Soorah al-Fath 48:29]
