Restoring One's Iman By 'Abdur-Razzāq Ibn 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Abbād al-Badr ISBN: 9481975172458 Al-Ḥākim reported in his book al-Mustadrak and at-Tabarānī reported in his book al-Mʿujam al-Kabīr on the authority of ʿAbdullāh bin ʿUmar bin al-Aas (May Allāh be pleased with them) who said that the Messenger of Allāh (May Allāh elevate his rank & grant him peace) said,"Indeed, your ʾĪmān wears out in your heart similar to how a Thawb wears out. So supplicate Allāh to restore the ʾĪmān in your hearts." ʾĪmān wears out the same way as a Thawb wears in the sense that it is subjected to deterioration, weakness, decrease due to disobedience, sins, and conflicting diversions that keep one away from ʾĪmān, in addition to trials that reduce the strength and vigor of one's ʾĪmān. They disfigure its beauty, excellence, and splendor.

  • Taqwa Is the Cause for Every Good Taqwa Is the Cause for Every Good

Taqwa Is the Cause for Every Good By Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz ISBN: 9781631736162 Because of the intense need for taqwaa and its immense significance, and the fact that every one of us-every Muslim-is in desperate need of taqwaa and istiqaamah (uprightness) upon that, I decided to write this brief essay. May Allah benefit the Muslims with it. I say, whoever contemplates the frequent references to taqwaa in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (Peace be upon him) will realize that taqwaa is the cause for every good in the worldly life (Dunya) as well as the Hereafter. So oh servant of Allah, whenever you recite the Book of your Rabb from its beginning to its end, you find that taqwaa is the head, the key, and the cause of every good in the Dunya and Hereafter. On the other hand, you suffer difficulties, trials, tests, and punishments because of carelessness or a violation of taqwaa, and neglecting or discarding a portion of it. Taqwaa is the cause of happiness, hope, and alleviation of anxiety, as well as the strength and help in the Dunya and Hereafter. The following verses will illustrate these points: "And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way out for him, and He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine." [Soorah at-Talaq 65:2-3] Some of the salaf said: "This verse is the most comprehensive verse in the Book of Allah," or they said, "It is among the most comprehensive of verses in the Book of Allah." It has such status because all goodness in this world and the next springs from it. Allah has made for those who fear Him an escape from the difficulties of the Dunya as well as the Hereafter. And mankind is in severe, intense, dire need of safety from the afflictions of the Dunya and the Hereafter-especially those to be experienced on the Day of Judgment. So those who fear Allah in this abode-Allah will relieve them from the troubles of the Day of Resurrection, and they will obtain happiness on this heavy and mighty day. Whoever suffers any distress should fear Allah in all affairs until attaining solace and facility. Hence, taqwaa is the door to alleviation from the plight of hardships, the sorrows of poverty, the grief of oppression, the anxieties of sin and transgression, as well as the torment of shirk and disbelief.

  • Being TruthFul With Allah Being TruthFul With Allah

Being TruthFul With Allah By Shaykh Abdur Razzaq ibn Abdul Muhsin al-Badr ISBN: 9781944241339 A small excerpt from the book..... All praise is due to Allāh, the Lord of all that exists. I bear witness that none deserves to be worshiped in truth except Allāh alone with no partners and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger (may Allāh send Salāh [1] and peace upon him, his family, and his companions all-together). As for what follows: Verily, the subject matter of this treatise is extremely important and it is worthy of deep study and a good deal of time due to its magnitude, importance and urgent need. The happiness of the servant in his worldly life and Hereafter is dependent upon its fulfillment. There is no safety nor happiness for him in this worldly life or in the Hereafter unless he is from its people. Whoever studies the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Noble Messenger knows its great and extensive importance as well as its loftiness: Truthfulness, it is a lofty, great rank from the various ranks of those who advance to Allāh. Every action of the heart returns to it just as every corruption that occurs in the heart returns exclusively to its opposite, which is lying. So the source of every good in the outward and inward appearance of man is truthfulness and the source of every corruption in the outward and inward appearance of man is lying; thus good and corruption return back to these two sources. Allāh has made the life of this world a place for examination and testing so that the truthful distinguishes himself from the liar. Allāh said: "Alif-Lām-Mīm. Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested. And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allāh will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars. (Although Allāh knows all that before putting them to test)." [Sūrah al-Ankabut 29:1-3] Meaning: This life is a field for examination and an abode of trials. Allāh has tested those who came before us from the various nations in this life: "And We indeed tested those who were before them," meaning, He tested and examined them with what will distinguish the people of truth from the people of falsehood by way of it. And like them, this nation itself is subjected to being tested. [1] Shaykh Muhammad ibn Sālih al-'Uthaymīn said in his explanation to his book, Usūl Min 'Ilm Usūl: " Abū al-'Āliyyah said: "Allāh's Salāh upon His slave is Allāh's praise for him in the highest gathering." (Dār ibn al-Jawzi Edition, 21).

The Statement of At-Tawhid: La ILaha Illa-Allah (Its Virtues, Significance, Conditions, & Nullifiers) By Shaykh ʿAbdur-Razzāq Ibn ʿAbdul-Muhsin al- ʿAbbād al-Badr ISBN: 9781943844708 The most virtuous of words - the word of Tawhīd- Lā Ilaha Illā-Allāh- will not be accepted by mere utterance on the tongue. Rather, an implementation of its fundamental principles is necessary. For example, disproving polytheism and affirming the oneness of Allāh with a firm belief and adherence to all that it entails. This is the only way can anyone be considered a Muslim or be in the fold of the people of Tawhīd (Lā Ilaha Illā-Allāh). This great word signifies the falsehood of any deity besides Allāh. To affirm any deity other than Allāh is the most atrocious aggression and most evil deviation.

Fundamentals Of Eemaan By Shaykh Abdul Azeez Bin Abdullah Bin Baaz ISBN: 9781631733185 The Qur'aan has clarified these fundamentals ‎within many verses; likewise, our Prophet, ‎‎(sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam), has clarified ‎them within the authentic Sunnah. They are six ‎fundamentals, and they are the fundamentals of ‎Eemaan. They are the fundamentals of the ‎religion; for Eemaan is the entire religion, and it ‎is Islaam and the guidance. It is righteousness ‎and piety. It is that with which Allaah sent the ‎Messenger, (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam), from ‎beneficial knowledge and righteous actions. All ‎of it is referred to as Eemaan. These six ‎fundamentals of our religion have been clarified ‎by the Mighty Book within various places and ‎the trustworthy Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu ‎‎'alayhi wa sallam) clarified them within the ‎Ahadeeth. From that which has come within the ‎Book of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, is His ‎statement:‎ ‎ "It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness) ‎that you turn your faces towards east and ‎‎(or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the ‎quality of) the one who believes in Allaah, ‎the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the ‎Prophets." ‎ ‎[Soorah Al-Baqarah 2:177]‎ Allaah, Glorified and Exalted be He, clarified ‎here five of the fundamentals of Eemaan. They ‎are:‎ Eemaan in Allaah The Last Day The Angels The Book The Prophets The religion revolves around these five ‎fundamentals, inwardly and outwardly. Allaah, ‎the Majestic and High, has said:‎ ‎ "The Messenger (Muhammad) believes in ‎what has been sent down to him from his ‎Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one ‎believes in Allaah, His Angels, His Books, ‎and His Messengers. They say, "We make ‎no distinction between one another of ‎His Messengers." ‎ ‎[Soorah Al-Baqarah 2:285]‎

  • The Knowledge Seeker’s Guide On The Disbelief Of The Rejecter Of Tawhid The Knowledge Seeker’s Guide On The Disbelief Of The Rejecter Of Tawhid

The Knowledge Seeker's Guide On The Disbelief Of The Rejecter Of Tawhid By Shaykh ul-Islam Muḥammad Abdul-Wahhab ISBN: 9781640088641 From the book: It is clear that not caring about learning religion is one of the causes of being the worst of creation. If this ignorant man asked about this, what about those who claimed that they follow the Prophets and know their message, and everything is accessible, but he does not care? And when he attends or listens, he will be as mentioned by Allāh: "Comes not to them an admonition (a chapter of the Qurʾān) from their Lord as a recent revelation but they listen to it while they play. With their hearts occupied (with evil things)." [Sūrah Al-Anbiyā' 21:2-3] Also, when the Prophet (May Allāh raise his rank and grant him peace) said: "Allāh has sent me," he replied: with what you have been sent? He said: so and so." Thus, it is clear that the essence of Allāh's Message and the Prophet's Dawah is the Oneness of Allāh (Tawhīd), no partners with Him, and destroying idols. It is clear that idols cannot be destroyed but by showing enmity against them and combating them. So, think about the essence of religion. He also understood Tawhīd and that it is a great notion. Therefore, he said: "Who has followed you in this?" he replied: "a freeman and a slave," he said: all the scholars, kings and laypeople were against his opinion, and no one followed his opinion." This indicates that the truth can be followed by the least amount of people, but falsehood may be followed by many. Fuḍayl Ibn Iyāḍ (May Allāh have mercy on him) said: "Do not be afraid of the truth for its little followers, and do not be fascinated with the falsehood for its numerous bad successors ."

Based upon this, every time the servant's 'Imam of Allah strengthens and his understanding of Allah becomes correct, his Tawakkul on Allah strengthens and his resorting to Allah becomes greater. Ayatul Kursi and Confirming Proofs Of at Tawheed By Shaykh Abdur Razzaq al-Abbaad ISBN: 9781942574026 Among his outstanding traits (radhiallahu 'anhu) is what Al-Bukhari and Muslim collected on the authority of Anas bin Malik (radhiallahu 'anhu) that Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said to Ubay, "Indeed Allah ordered me to teach you" He (i.e. Ubay) said, "Did Allah mention my name to you?" the Prophet said, "Allah mentioned your name to me" Anas bin Malik said, "Ubay began to weep." Likewise you should contemplate in order to grasp Ubay's the full extent of understanding of the religion (radhiallahu 'anhu); his response to this question wasn't after long period of time like a week or a month in which he could review the verses and contemplate its meanings; rather he (radhiallahu 'anhu) merely responded immediately after the Messenger (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) repeated the question; so he chose this blessed verse. This verse contains a concise lesson, a beneficial statement, and clarification of the three categories of at-Tawheed; it amasses the statement and clarification of at-Tawheed which is not found in any single verse; rather it is found dispersed in many verses. Shaykh 'Abdur Rahman As-Sa'dee said, "This verse includes at-Tawheed as it relates to Allah's divinity, lordship, and His names & attributes; in addition to that it includes the completeness of His dominion and what His knowledge encompasses, the vastness of His Power, Majesty, Greatness, Loftiness, and Exaltedness over all of His creation. This verse alone contains the 'aqeedah as it relates to Allah's Names and Attributes which comprises all of His most beautiful names and lofty attributes." [1] (http://www.maktabatulirshad.com/product/ayatul-kursi-confirming-proofs-tawheed/#_ftn1) Ubay's keenness (radhiallahu 'anhu) in selecting this verse was profound and precise; and it demonstrates the great concern for at-Tawheed in the hearts of the companions. This is exactly what Al-Bukhari reported on the authority of 'Ayesha (radhiallahu 'anha) that the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) dispatched a man over a raiding party. The man would to lead the prayer and would always conclude his recitation with Soorah Ikhlaas. So upon their return they mentioned that occurrence to the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and He said to them, "ask him why does he do that" so when they asked him he replied, "because it (i.e., the Soorah) a description of Ar-Rahmaan and I love to recite it." So the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "inform him that Allah loves him."

And Verily, This Is My Straight Path , So Follow It / The aqidah Of The Victorious Group By Shaykh Aḥmad Bin Yaḥya An-Najmi ISBN: 9781640085695 From the book: Verily, I was requested to give a statement about the ʿAqīdah of the Victorious Group, whom the Prophet (May Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) spoke about: لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَائِمَة بِأَمْرِ اللهِ ؛ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ ، أَوْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللهِ ، وَ هُمْ ظَاهِرُونَ عَلَى النَّاسِ "There will not cease to be a group from my nation being established upon the Command of Allāh, they are not harmed by those who forsake them, nor those who oppose them until the Command of Allāh comes, while they are triumphant over the people." [Reported by Muslim, Al-Bukhārī with what is similar to it] In another narration: لَا تَزَالُ عِصَابَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يُقَاتِلُونَ عَلَى أَمْرِ اللهِ ، قَاهِرِينَ لِعَدُوِهِمْ ، لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ وَ هُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ "There will not cease to be a group from my nation, fighting upon the Command of Allāh, triumphant over their enemies, they are not harmed by whoever opposes them, until the Hour comes to them, while they are upon that." [Reported by Muslim] I preferred to write what Allāh made easy, because, a statement that is written remains and the benefit from it continues through the passing of time. I hope that Allāh will bring benefit by way of that. Shaykh Aḥmad Bin Yaḥyā An-Najmī
