Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Explanation of Riyaadh Saliheen: Chapter on Humility & Lowering Ones' Wing
Explanation of Riyaadh Saliheen: Chapter on Humility & Lowering Ones' Wing To The Believers By Shaykh Muhammad bin Saleh al-Uthaymeen ISBN: 9781628906530 Humility is the opposite of self-exaltation. Humility is that one does not elevate or exalt himself over others by way of his knowledge, lineage, wealth, status, leadership, governorship, and so on. Rather, it is obligatory to lower one's wing to the believers. He should exhibit kindness to them just as the most honorable of creation and lofty amongst them before Allaah, the Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), used to exhibit kindness to the believers, to the point that a young girl would grab him by the hand and take him wherever she wanted and he would fulfill her need for her. Allaah the Sublime says, "And be kind and humble to the believers." [Soorah al-Hijr 15:88]And in another verse Allaah says, "the believers who follow you." [Soorah ash-Shu'araa 26:215] "... and lower your wing"Meaning be humble. The arrogant and haughty person thinks of himself as a bird soaring in the air. So he is commanded to lower his wing and come down to the believers who follow the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). It is known that one is not to lower one's wing to the disbeliever. Rather, one is to be elevated above the disbeliever and exalted above him, placing himself in a position above him. Cling to the Statement of Allaah (At-Tawheed), and the Statement of Allaah is superior. Allaah said in his description of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and his companions, "They are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves," [Soorah al-Fath 48:29]

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Explanation of The Hadith: Indeed The Blissful Person
Explanation of The Hadith: Indeed The Blissful Person Is He Who Has Been Kept Away from Fitan By Shaykh Abdur Razzaq ibn Abdul-Muhsin Al-abbad Al-Badr ISBN: 9781649452931 Just how much more beautiful would it be that the believing servant is consistently conscious of this blessed meaning, which this Hadith illustrates, "who has been kept away from Fitan," meaning that Allāh keeps Fitan away from him and shields him from its evil. This Hadith is inclusive of the following connotations. It is unbefitting for the Muslim to seek out Fitan, expose oneself to it, involve himself in it, or be entangled in its complexities and dire consequences. Let alone put oneself through its wicked outcome(s).Instead, Islām requires the servant to keep one's distance and avoid it. He should make efforts to remain safe from its evil. Avoiding Fitan is the main objective here; not heading long into it or being entangled. Instead, one should seek refuge with Allāh and beg Him for well-being. Well-being is unparalleled to anything else. Whoever has been blessed with it has been gifted with a tremendous amount of good. Numerous supplications have been cited where the Prophet (May Allah elevate his rank & grant him peace) asked Allāh (The Exalted) for well-being.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications A commentary on a Hadith Covering broad topics on the Islamic Creed
A commentary on a Ḥadīth covering broad topics on the Islāmic Creed ISBN:9798885258227 Author: Abdur Razzaaq Bin Abdul Muhsin al Badr Binding: Paperback Pages: 94 Size: 8.3 x 5.8 x 0.3 inch Publication Year: 2022 About This Book: Also, it is reported in al-Musnad and others from the Ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah (May Allāh be pleased with him) that he said: "Renew your ʾĪmān. Someone said, 'O Messenger of Allāh, 'how do we renew our ʾĪmān?' He (May Allāh elevate his rank & grant him peace) said, 'utter more and more the statement of Islāmic monotheism: Laa ilāha illa Allāh (i.e., none has the right to be worshiped, in truth, except Allāh)." Meaning: that consistency with this statement (i.e., Laa ilāha illa Allāh) renews ʾĪmān in the heart, fills it with light and increases it in certainty and sincerity. This station requires the servant to be consistent and fight against the soul continuously. The ʿAqīdah is not a text you read at school then you stop, or you study it with a scholar in one of the Masājid then you quit. Rather it is singularly a matter that stays with you throughout your life. These words amazingly fortify the ʿAqīdah and strengthen it in the heart. So, it is befitting for the Muslim to memorize these words by heart and be diligent in making it a part of one's night prayer, as reported by the noble Prophet (May Allāh elevate his rank & grant him peace). Also, he should not leave off his nights to pass him by, for indeed he will be deprived of this copious good, tremendous favor, and blessed gift. Imām al-Ājurrī (May Allāh have mercy on him) stated about this remembrance, "Truly, it is excellent and helpful for the one whom Allāh guided to implement it. So, a person who usually observes night prayer should memorize it. I also urge one to memorize it to implement. Likewise, every Muslim who doesn't observe night prayer should memorize it and invoke Allāh, hoping that He grants him success to establish the night prayer."

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications The Obligation Of Implementing The Sunnah & Deeming
The Obligation Of Implementing The Sunnah & Deeming Whoever Rejects It Of Disbelief By Shaykh Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah ISBN: 9781642042726 From the book: Allāh (The Exalted) says in Sūrah An-Nūr, "And let those who oppose the Messenger's (Muḥammad (May Allah raise his rank and grant him peace)) commandment (i.e., his Sunnah - legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements) (among the sects) beware, let some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant) should befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them." [Sūrah an-Nūr 24:63] and Allāh says in Sūrah Al-Hashr, "And whatsoever the Messenger (Muḥammad (May Allah raise his rank and grant him peace)) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)." [Sūrah al-Hashr 59:7] In this regard, many verses indicate the obligation of obeying the Prophet and adhering to his Sunnah. Also, previous evidence indicated the obligation of adhering to the Book of Allāh, sticking to it, and complying with his orders and abstaining from its prohibitions. These are two relevant fundamentals in which whoever denies one of them denies the other. This is considered an act of disbelief and misguidance which takes one outside the fold of Islām as agreed by all the scholars. The ahādīth of the Prophet (May Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) indicated the obligation of obeying the Messenger of Allāh (May Allah raise his rank and grant him peace), following his Sunnah and refraining from disobeying him. All of this is relative to the people of his era as well as those to come. It is related by Al-Bukhārī and Muslim on the authority of Abū Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (May Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) said: "Whosoever obeys me, obeys Allāh; and he who disobeys me disobeys Allāh."

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Explanation Of The Hadith: When Allah Wants Good
Explanation Of The Hadith: When Allah Wants Good For A Person He Bestows On Him Fiqh Of The Religion By Shaykh ʿAbdur-Razzāq Ibn ʿAbdul-Muḥsin al- ʿAbbād al-Badr ISBN: 9781641362948 From the book: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Muslim authentically report the Ḥadīth of Mu'āwiyah (May Allah be pleased with him) in which the Prophet (May Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) said, مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ "When Allāh wants good for a person He bestows on him Fiqh of the Religion." This tremendous demonstrates clearly the great status of Fiqh in the Religion. The person who busies himself with this great matter and has taken significant concern for it is among the signs that Allāh (The Exalted) wants good for his servant. Allāh wanting as mentioned in the Ḥadīth refers to His divine decree and universal will, مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا "When Allāh wants good for a person." Meaning, through Allāh's universal and divine decree He grants his servant Fiqh, causes the servant to find pleasure in being busy with learning the Religion. The word, "good" is mentioned in an indefinite form (in Arabic) to attach a level of importance and clarify the abundance of good to whomever Allāh bestows Fiqh of the religion which by it is a means for one's victory and success. The servant finding happiness in having Fiqh of the religion, devoting oneself to it, regularly attending the sittings of knowledge, being delighted with reading the books from the people of knowledge, also studying and memorizing is among the signs of good for the servant. The servant should set aside a portion of his day for seeking knowledge. An avenue in which he acquires knowledge is that he doesn't let a day pass by without obtaining it. Doing this should be among the objectives that the Muslim strives for daily and is serious about acquiring beneficial knowledge. Rather this is the most significant objective the Muslim seeks and strives for its obtainment.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Explanation Of The Chapter From Riyaadh Saliheen: Pertaining Being Dutiful To The Parents
Explanation Of The Chapter From Riyaadh Saliheen: Pertaining Being Dutiful To The Parents & Upholding The Ties Of Kinship By Imam an-Nawaawi ISBN: 9781640089693 From the book: The author, May Allah have mercy on him, said: chapter pertaining being dutiful to parents and upholding the ties of kinship. The parents are the father and the mother. He expressed the right of parents by being dutiful to them as mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah. He also expressed upholding the ties of kinship as mentioned in the Quran and the Sunnah. Being dutiful to parents is one of the best righteous deeds. It is the right which follows the right of Allāh and His Messenger. The author, May Allah have mercy on him, mentioned many verses in this regard as Allāh says: "Worship Allāh and join none with Him (in worship); and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, Al-Masākīn (the needy), the neighbor who is near of kin, the neighbor who is a stranger, the companion by our side, the wayfarer (you meet), and those (slaves) whom your right hands possess." [Sūrah An-Nisa' 4:36] And Allāh says: "And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents." [Sūrah An-Isra' 17:23] And Allāh says: "And We have enjoined on man to be good and dutiful to his parents." [Sūrah Al-Ankabūt 29:8] And Allāh says: "And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years - give thanks to your parents and Me." [Sūrah Luqman 31:14] And Allāh says: "And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honor. And lower to them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young." [Sūrah Al-Isra' 17:23-24] All these verses refer to the greatness of the right of the parents. Allāh, the All-Mighty, stated the position of the mother who bears a child in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship. The mother suffers from childbearing till the delivery as Allāh says: "His mother bears him with hardship. And she brings him forth with hardship." [Sūrah Al-Ahqaf 46:15]. All of these verses indicate the great right of the mother. Then Allāh, the All-Mighty, mentioned the worst case suffered by the parents, Allāh says: "If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect," Because when the parents attain old age, they became weak and relied on their son. Thus Allāh E says: "And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life," So, do not say: "I am angry with you" but one should treat them gently and smoothly, nor shout at them when they speak. "Or both of them attain old age in your life, say not a word of disrespect" speak with them well for their prestigious positions.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Explanation of Riyaadh Saliheen: The Chapter on Truthfulness
Explanation of Riyaadh Saliheen: The Chapter on Truthfulness By Abu Zakariya Yahya Bin Sharaf An-Nawawi ISBN: 9781467582285 Truthfulness means: conformity of reports to reality. If you were to report something and it is consistent with reality, then it's classified as : true report (e.g. today is Sunday and it is Sunday.) But if you said: today is Monday while it is not, then this is a false report. Therefore, a report is classified true if it matches otherwise it's false. Truthfulness covers both sayings and actions. The latter is achieved when the individual's heart is an image of the outside appearance. The individual who shows off, for example, is not truthful because he exhibits obedience while he if not, the polytheist is not truthful because he exhibits himself as a monotheist but he is not, the hypocrite is not truthful because he pretends to be a believer but he is not, and the innovator is not truthful because he claims to be following the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) but he is not. However, truthfulness is achieved when the report and reality are identical. It's a characteristic of the believers; as opposed to lying which is a characteristic of hypocrites - we seek Allah's refuge from it.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Ayatul Kursi and Confirming Proofs Of at Tawheed
Ayatul Kursi and Confirming Proofs Of at Tawheed By Shaykh Abdur Razzaq al-Abbaad ISBN: 9781942574026 Among his outstanding traits (radhiallahu 'anhu) is what Al-Bukhari and Muslim collected on the authority of Anas bin Malik (radhiallahu 'anhu) that Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said to Ubay, "Indeed Allah ordered me to teach you" He (i.e. Ubay) said, "Did Allah mention my name to you?" the Prophet said, "Allah mentioned your name to me" Anas bin Malik said, "Ubay began to weep." Likewise you should contemplate in order to grasp Ubay's the full extent of understanding of the religion (radhiallahu 'anhu); his response to this question wasn't after long period of time like a week or a month in which he could review the verses and contemplate its meanings; rather he (radhiallahu 'anhu) merely responded immediately after the Messenger (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) repeated the question; so he chose this blessed verse. This verse contains a concise lesson, a beneficial statement, and clarification of the three categories of at-Tawheed; it amasses the statement and clarification of at-Tawheed which is not found in any single verse; rather it is found dispersed in many verses. Shaykh 'Abdur Rahman As-Sa'dee said, "This verse includes at-Tawheed as it relates to Allah's divinity, lordship, and His names & attributes; in addition to that it includes the completeness of His dominion and what His knowledge encompasses, the vastness of His Power, Majesty, Greatness, Loftiness, and Exaltedness over all of His creation. This verse alone contains the 'aqeedah as it relates to Allah's Names and Attributes which comprises all of His most beautiful names and lofty attributes." [1] (http://www.maktabatulirshad.com/product/ayatul-kursi-confirming-proofs-tawheed/#_ftn1) Ubay's keenness (radhiallahu 'anhu) in selecting this verse was profound and precise; and it demonstrates the great concern for at-Tawheed in the hearts of the companions. This is exactly what Al-Bukhari reported on the authority of 'Ayesha (radhiallahu 'anha) that the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) dispatched a man over a raiding party. The man would to lead the prayer and would always conclude his recitation with Soorah Ikhlaas. So upon their return they mentioned that occurrence to the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and He said to them, "ask him why does he do that" so when they asked him he replied, "because it (i.e., the Soorah) a description of Ar-Rahmaan and I love to recite it." So the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "inform him that Allah loves him."
