Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Explantion Of Riyaad Saliheen,The Chapter On Hastening Towards Good Deeds
Explantion Of Riyaad Saliheen,The Chapter On Hastening Towards Good Deeds By Shaykh Muhammad Bin Saleh Al-Uthaymeen ISBN: 9781467585842 Shaykh Muhammad Bin Saleh al-'Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him, explains the chapter on "hastening towards good deeds"..... "Hastening towards good deeds and urging whoever pursues good deeds to be steadfast, without hesitation." This title makes two points: Firstly: Hastening and taking the initiative to do good deeds. Secondly: If one is determined to do good, one should proceed without hesitation. The first point is initiative, which opposes laziness and apathy. The person who is lazy and apathetic has missed many good deeds. The Prophet Muhammad said, ا"The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allaah than the weak believer, although both are good. Strive to do that which will benefit you and seek the help of Allaah, and do not feel helpless." One should hasten to do good deeds as soon as he is told about them, such as prayer, charity, fasting, pilgrimage, obedience to parents, maintaining ties of kinship and so on. One should hasten to perform these good deeds because one does not know whether one will lose the ability to do these deeds later due to death, sickness, or something else if the present opportunity is missed. The Messenger of Allaah said, "Whoever intends to perform Hajj, let him hasten to do so, for he may fall sick, lose his mount, or be faced with some need. Something may appear (suddenly) and prevent the individual from proceeding to do good deed. Hence, one should hasten to do good deeds and shun laziness.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Fundamentals Of Eemaan
Fundamentals Of Eemaan By Shaykh Abdul Azeez Bin Abdullah Bin Baaz ISBN: 9781631733185 The Qur'aan has clarified these fundamentals within many verses; likewise, our Prophet, (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam), has clarified them within the authentic Sunnah. They are six fundamentals, and they are the fundamentals of Eemaan. They are the fundamentals of the religion; for Eemaan is the entire religion, and it is Islaam and the guidance. It is righteousness and piety. It is that with which Allaah sent the Messenger, (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam), from beneficial knowledge and righteous actions. All of it is referred to as Eemaan. These six fundamentals of our religion have been clarified by the Mighty Book within various places and the trustworthy Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) clarified them within the Ahadeeth. From that which has come within the Book of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, is His statement: "It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allaah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets." [Soorah Al-Baqarah 2:177] Allaah, Glorified and Exalted be He, clarified here five of the fundamentals of Eemaan. They are: Eemaan in Allaah The Last Day The Angels The Book The Prophets The religion revolves around these five fundamentals, inwardly and outwardly. Allaah, the Majestic and High, has said: "The Messenger (Muhammad) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allaah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers." [Soorah Al-Baqarah 2:285]

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Helpful Guidelines In Enduring People's Harm
Helpful Guidelines In Enduring People's Harm By Ibn Taymiyyah ISBN: 9781944248697 Shaykh Abdur Razzaaq bin Abdul Muhsin al-Badr, may Allah preserve him, explains a splendid treatise of Shaykh-ul Taymiyyah (May Allah have mercy upon him) concerning the issue of enduring people's harm. A small excerpt from the book: Indeed, patience is one of the greatest status in the religion and occupies one of its loftiest classes. Allāh mentions it in numerous places throughout His Book. Imām Ahmad (may Allah have mercy upon him) said about it, "Allāh mentions patience in the Noble Qur'ān more than ninety times."[1] This statement (of Imām Ahmad) shows in a clear fashion the great and prestigious status of Patience; in addition to the servants' dire need to practice if in both performing acts of obedience and abandoning acts of disobedience; patience is also required during destined trials to avoid impatience and displeasure. The servant is in need of patience. Patience accompanies the Muslim in all of his circumstances; it is essential in performing acts of obedience, avoiding acts of disobedience, and receiving trials with what pleases Allāh. So how much in need is the Muslim (of this)! Rather, he is in more severe need to adorn himself with patience in all of his circumstances! Allāh mentions Patience in numerous places throughout the Qur'ān. It comes in the form of a command; it comes in the form of a prohibition (i.e., impatience); It comes in the form of a praise to those who have. The Qur'ān mentions what Allāh has prepared for them of an abundant reward and beautiful abode. Unlimited glad tidings are promised to those who have patience. Allāh informs (us) that He loves them, and that He gives them aid, support, and protection; Patience is mentioned in different shapes/forms elsewhere in the Book of Allāh. All of this attest to the great status of Patience; its lofty station, and (our) urgent need for it.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications How Can You Become a Key Towards Good

Shaykh Abdur-Razzaaq Bin Abdil-Muhsin al-Badr, illustrates how one can be a key towards good by giving 16 points on this matter. A must read book; very beneficial!!! Covers areas such as Tawheed and worship, Supplication and Dua, Benificial Knowledge, The doors of good being ceaseless, and much much more! 82 pages (6x9 perfect binding). Beneficial knowledge that is derived from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His messenger (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam). Knowledge is the foundation, and it is essential for the servant to acquire in order for him to become a key to good. He who does not possess beneficial knowledge, how can he distinguish between the keys to good and the keys to evil?! How can he distinguish between truth and falsehood?! How can he differentiate between what is Sunnah and what is Bid'ah (innovation)?! How can he differentiate between guidance and misguidance?! How can he protect himself from falsehood while he does not have any knowledge?! Just as, it has been stated in the past "How can one ward off that which he does not know what he is warding?!" As Allah says, "Say (O Muhammad): 'This is my way; I invite unto Allah (i.e. To the Oneness of Allah - Islâmic Monotheism) with sure knowledge.'" [Soorah Yusuf 12:108] Al-Baseerah is beneficial knowledge. Therefore, he who does not have beneficial knowledge, how can he separate between truth and falsehood, guidance and misguidance?! Allah says, "Is he who walks without seeing on his face, more rightly guided, or he who (sees and) walks on a Straight Way (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism)." [Soorah al-Mulk 67:22] "Shall he then who knows that what has been revealed unto you (O Muhammad) from your Lord is the truth be like him who is blind? But it is only the men of understanding that pay heed." [Soorah ar-Rad 13:19] "Say: 'Are those who know equal to those who know not?'" [Soorah az-Zumar 39:9] Thus, he who wants himself to become a key to good then he must be diligent and concern himself relentlessly with acquiring beneficial knowledge. There has been a Prophetic tradition reported by Al-Bayhaqi that the Messenger (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam), said: "Whoever goes out seeking to learn some beneficial knowledge, Allah will open a door of Paradise for him."

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Knowledge And Its Effects On Purifying Souls
Knowledge And Its Effects On Purifying Souls By Shaykh Abdur Razzaq ISBN: 9781640078895 From the book: When one handles this significantly elaborate topic of soul purification and its aspects in light of verses and authentic aḥādīth, one deduces solid principles and comprehensive foundational rules that pave the way to purifying souls. The most significant principle in this respect is that soul purification is a divine blessing. Allāh only sanctifies whom He wills. Allāh, the Almighty, says, "Have you not seen those who claim sanctity for themselves? Nay, but Allāh sanctifies whom He pleases." [Sūrah An-Nisā' 4:49] Allāh says, "And had it not been for the Grace of Allāh and His Mercy on you, not one of you would ever have been pure from sins. But Allāh purifies (guides to Islām) whom He wills, and Allāh is All-Hearer, All-Knower." [Sūrah An-Nūr 24:21] Allāh also says, "They regard as a favor upon you (O Muḥammad) that they have embraced Islām. Say: 'Count not your Islām as a favor to me. Nay, but Allāh has conferred a favor upon you, that He has guided you to the Faith if you indeed are true.'" [Sūrah Al-Hujurāt 49:17]

No other religion besides it will not be accepted from them as Allāh says,"Truly, the religion with Allāh is Islām." [Sūrah ʿAli ʿImrān 3:19]Likewise, Allāh says,"And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter, he will be one of the losers." [Sūrah ʿAli ʿImrān 3:85]And Allāh says, "This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion." Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Raising Children in Islam
Raising Children in Islam By Shaykh Abdur Razzaaq bin Abdul Muhsin al Badr ISBN: 9781943842100 Allāh (Glorified be He) says: "Your wealth and your children are only a trial." [Sūrah at-Taghābun 64:15]Allāh honored you and bestowed upon you sons and daughters as a trial for you-a test, a tribulation-so that it can be observed whether or not you will take care of them, discipline them, teach them and straighten their behavior; or, will you neglect this trust or put this obligation to waste. Surely, from the attributes of the believers whose faith and salvation has been confirmed is their keeping of the Amānah (what they have been entrusted with) as Allāh (The Blessed and Sublime) has said at the beginning of Sūrah al-Mu'minūn while mentioning the attributes of those whose faith has materialized: "Successful indeed are the believers." [Sūrah al-Mu'minūn 23:1]Then He mentioned their attributes, from which are: "Those who are faithfully true to their Amānāt (plural of Amānah: all the duties which Allāh has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts) and to their covenants; (8) and those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawāt (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours). (9) These are indeed the inheritors. (10) Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever." [Sūrah al-Mu'minūn 23:8-11]Being faithfully true to the Amānah: "O you who believe! Betray not Allāh and His Messenger, nor betray knowingly your Amānāt (things entrusted to you, and all the duties which Allāh has ordained for you." [Sūrah al-Anfāl 8:27]So neglecting the Amānah is a seriously dangerous matter, and keeping the Amānah is an attribute of the wholesome believers whose faith has been actualized along with their happiness in the life of this world and the Hereafter.

Maktabatul-Irshad Publications Restoring One’s Iman
Restoring One's Iman By 'Abdur-Razzāq Ibn 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Abbād al-Badr ISBN: 9481975172458 Al-Ḥākim reported in his book al-Mustadrak and at-Tabarānī reported in his book al-Mʿujam al-Kabīr on the authority of ʿAbdullāh bin ʿUmar bin al-Aas (May Allāh be pleased with them) who said that the Messenger of Allāh (May Allāh elevate his rank & grant him peace) said,"Indeed, your ʾĪmān wears out in your heart similar to how a Thawb wears out. So supplicate Allāh to restore the ʾĪmān in your hearts." ʾĪmān wears out the same way as a Thawb wears in the sense that it is subjected to deterioration, weakness, decrease due to disobedience, sins, and conflicting diversions that keep one away from ʾĪmān, in addition to trials that reduce the strength and vigor of one's ʾĪmān. They disfigure its beauty, excellence, and splendor.
